In 2011, Tate secured his first ISKA world title with a decisive victory over Jean-Luc Benoit. After a setback, he returned stronger in 2013, winning his second ISKA world title in a dramatic showdown against Vincent Petitjean.That same year, he dominated the Enfusion Live circuit, claiming four victories and reaching the finals of the Enfusion Live -85 kg World Championship.
